What happened in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 15?
Episode 15, the 39th episode in the series, is taken from the previous episode. Titled Upheaval, Part 2, it recounts the sudden appearance of Toji in Dagon’s domain. He still has control over his body after being separated, despite killing Mrs. Ogami in Episode 12 of this season. After impressively and quickly eliminating Dagon, the team was out of the domain but not out of danger. Toji isolates Megumi, while Nanami, Naobito and Maki are able to stand at death’s door thanks to Jogo’s appearance and his fire abilities. The second half focuses on Sukuna’s awakening after Itadori was force-fed eleven fingers. It finally ends with a promised battle between Jogo and Sukuna.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 16 May Feature Sukuna & Toji
With Dagon’s plot thread resolved and Megumi suddenly alone with Toji, there’s now room to move on to other parts of the Shibuya Incident. Itadori has no control over his body and Sukuna never hesitates to shed blood. However, the evil wizard will either control the situation for his own benefit or be forced to support Jogo’s current goals. It seems highly unlikely that Sukuna will be forced to submit to anyone other than Yuji’s determination to maintain control. While episode 15 serves as a tense conclusion to the season and a transition to a potential new focus, episode 16 could bring back the intense energy with the confrontation between Sukuna and Jogo.
However, Toji’s current goal is unknown, which could be another focus of the next episode. With his current focus on killing witches, he could put his son, Megumi, in danger. However, he may also have a moment of awakening when facing his son – who does not know who he is. The main question fans may be asking now is whether Megumi’s allies will officially die at Jogo’s fiery hands – and whether he could suffer the same fate at the hands of his father or not.
