What happened in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode #10?
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode #10 continues the shocking ending of episode #9, in which the sorcerer who possessed Geto’s body sealed Gojo in prison. Luckily, Mechamaru’s contingency plan was in effect when this happened, allowing him to warn Yuji and generally the other witches on the scene that Gojo was absent. Additionally, Gojo’s sheer god-level power overloaded the Prison Realm, causing the curses to become too heavy to lift and remove from Shibuya. As a result, the remaining witches and curses are now set to fight each other in the battle for Gojo’s prison.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode #11 will feature new battles and faces
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 episode #10 sets up many potential fights for episode #11 to continue. Mei Mei is fighting the curse in the tunnels beneath Shibuya while Mahito, Choso and Jogo are all searching for Yuji to either kill him or turn him into Sukuna. Additionally, three new potential enemies were introduced in the post-credits scene that may appear in episode #11. On the other hand, the witches are all within Shibuya’s veil, mobilized to take action and hunt down Gojo’s prison kingdom, which will likely bring them into direct conflict with the curses. Due to the less action-packed nature of episode #10, episode #11 will likely focus on showing these fights or staging them more directly.
The previous fights of Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2 have been excellent so if episode #11 lives up to that standard it will be great too. Of course, even the less combat-oriented episode #10 turned out to be quite interesting, which means that even if episode #11 is just more set up for future battles, it’ll probably still be extremely good. It’s a sign of how well Studio MAPPA has done so far in delivering Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 to screen that out no matter what episode #11 focusing on it is almost guaranteed to be entertaining and engaging.
Do not miss Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 episode #11 when it airs on Crunchyroll on October 5, 2023.
