Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Delve into the growth of Gojo and Geto
While manga fans know the story of Gojo and Geto’s quest, for anime fans the story is only hinted in Jujutsu Kaisen O during the final conversation between the older Gojo and Geto , after Geto was defeated by Yuta Okkotsu. The story explores the relationship between two Special Level jujutsu witches and how it has changed dramatically due to their experiences with Riko. Indeed, that quest created situations that the rest of the story is dealing with up to the present time in the manga.
The MAPPA STAGE 2023 event also announced that the second season will have two parts. Part 2 will adapt the “Shibuya Incident” arc of the manga. In a follow-up tweet on the official Twitter account of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, the show’s creators posted images of Yuji, Nobara, Megumi, and other characters from the first season who will return for Season 2.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Season 2 Part 2 will adapt the Shibuya incident
The “Shibuya Incident” is one of the favorite storylines of the Jujutsu Kaisen community mainly because it focuses on the series’ strengths, specifically the paranormal themed battles between witches running through the streets and alleys of Shibuya – the famous “degenerate” neighborhood of Tokyo. The season officially introduces the main antagonist for the series’ sequel, Kenjaku. It’s a high-paced, first-action storyline that will deliver well in the anime format. The musical arrangements for the second season were also announced at the MAPPA event. The opening theme song “Ao no Sumika” will be performed by Tatsuya Kitani and the ending theme song “Light” will be performed by Satoshi Sakiyama.
With Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga entering its final battle and an anime adaptation of a beloved part, fans of the hit series have a lot to look forward to. Looking for part 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen when it releases on July 6th!
