With the Jujutsu Kaisen manga coming to an end, all the arcs and fates of the characters are coming to an end.
In chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji finally defeats Sukuna when Megumi is freed from the curse. This leads to a happy reunion between the first-year trio.
However, not everything is rosy and sunny. Yuta's fate remains unknown after the Shinjuku Showdown arc. Now, his soul is still in Gojo's body and will likely have to live like that for the rest of his life. However, fans are still not losing hope for an alternative solution to this dilemma.
Some people hypothesize:“What if Yuta returned to his body and ended up with Gojo and Geto buried next to each other”.
“If they can have Rika vomit Geto's body out, I'm all for the idea.”another added.
Another fan agreed: “If that happens, then I don't really care about the last 2 chapters. I mean this will give me all the information I want to know about the characters, this is where the story ends.”
Apparently, many people are hoping that Yuta will get his body back, freeing him from Gojo's corpse. Rika could also spit out Geto's body, which has now been freed from Kenjaku's curse. If that really happens, then the two best friends could finally be buried together.

It's a heartbreaking notion for Gojo fans, especially since they're still reeling from the death of their favorite character, but it's still a beautiful ending for Gojo. As the most powerful sorcerer in modern times, Gojo has always felt lonely, except when he's with his best friend Geto.
Although both of their lives ended in tragedy, perhaps they can reunite after death, as they did in the afterlife (like we see in chapter 236).
That aside, some fans are still hoping Gojo will return before Jujutsu Kaisen ends, especially since Nobara was revealed to be alive in chapter 267.
