Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 242 continues with Kenjaku and Takaba’s scenario, where Kenjaku creates a special level curse spirit but Takab hits it with a truck he was driving. The scene changes very quickly in Takab’s interpretation and the best way to describe these scenes is as what one sees in a dream.
The smallest things become the strangest things and we can never understand what will happen next. This alternate scenario sees Takaba and Kenjaku trying to revive a fish in nurse uniforms and the fanbase is currently going crazy over it.
Moving forward, Kenjaku’s monologue reveals that this is something very different from just seeing Takaba’s imagination as he is also being hurt from it. Takaba’s cursed technique forces them to undergo a quiz together to play in the sea like children.
As this Chapter ends, we see that Kenjaku has realized that these scenarios will not end unless Takaba’s love of comedy is satisfied and that it is a battle he cannot win with violence.
