Jujutsu Kaisen will soon return with “Culling Games” as the sequel to the Season 2 anime.
Immediately after the end of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, a sequel anime adaptation of the “Culling Games” arc was officially announced. The anime’s website released the first teaser trailer, which includes voices from the anime over frames from the manga, teasing: “The production of the Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Games arc has been decided and will depict dynamic death matches between those empowered with Jujutsu – – instigated by the worst jujutsu wizard of all time, Noritoshi Kamo! Please look forward to the beginning of a new story.” Fans can watch the trailer below.

Shueisha’s latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump brings readers a special poster highlighting some of the best scenes from the “Shibuya Arc” of the MAPPA anime.
It is currently unclear whether the “Culling Games” part will be adapted into a TV series or a movie. MAPPA recently showed openness to film adaptations with Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc, which would later join many other anime such as Rascal Does Not Dream and Haikyu!! the films will serve as the finale of the entire series.
It’s no surprise that Jujutsu Kaisen was immediately renewed. Part 2 opened to rave reviews, easily outselling Part 1 on Blu-ray, and inspired widespread excitement (as well as often controversy) among the fan community. Jujutsu Kaisen’s hyped battles saw the series take the 2nd biggest trending anime spot on X and marked another great year for the series as a whole. Similarly, this manga also ranked 2nd in the list of best-selling manga in 2023.
