Spoilers for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: The Jojolands Ch. It’s 3Jodio’s turn to be the new Jojo of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure It’s only just begun, but it looks like someone’s planning to cut that time short, as the group’s first major heist goes awry.
So far in season 9, The Jojolands, Jodio is presented as a drug dealer and criminal, working under a boss who ordered him and his friends to steal a diamond. Huge $6 million diamond from a Japanese man apparently vacationing at a Hawaiian mansion. That man turned out to be none other than JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure’s Rohan Kishibe, shocking many fans because Rohan didn’t exist in this universe at all. While Rohan has yet to spot the intruders in his home, a mysterious cat appeared at the time of the break-in – a cat unfamiliar to both Jodio and Rohan. Worse still, this doesn’t appear to be an ordinary cat; This cat seems to have a stand.
JOJOLands set up Jodio for a fall
The cat first let Rohan know of its presence before blatantly entering the house, prompting Rohan to try to follow it. After that, the cat’s Standing ability seems to have created some kind of thread that began to bind Jodio’s crew, squeezing their arms and legs and rendering them helpless. Had it not been for Jodio’s attempt to distract, the team would have been captured, bound, and in possession of the diamond – an open and closed box. However, when they broke into the safe, the diamond wasn’t the only thing in it; a volcanic rock is also inside, and Rohan has some scientific equipment and photos of lava flows in the mansion. Volcanic rock is clearly valuable in some way, set next to a diamond worth millions of dollars. Could it be that Jodio and his crew were set up to plead guilty to stealing the diamond, when the real treasure was something else entirely?
The cat’s presence here was clearly no coincidence and must have belonged to a third party pursuing something else from Rohan. If Jodio and his team were caught stealing a diamond, as well as everything else they had taken, no one (except perhaps Rohan) would suspect a second theft. two happening at the same time, aiming for something. other. There are many reasons why such a rock might be valuable–perhaps it is related to the Rock Humans of Jojolion, or to one of the other strange geological formations seen in the universe. Jojo pillar is rebooted, like Wall Eyes near Morioh (Rohan’s hometown) or Devil’s Palms from Steel Ball Run. Such an item would only be useful to very special people, those with the ability to Stand… the kind of person who could eventually become the great villain of the Jojolands.
Whoever this third party was, they already knew about the break-in, as well as what Rohan had done to the volcanic rocks. What their goals are remains to be seen, but there’s clearly more to come in the latest chapter of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure more eye-catching.
