Ishura Season 2 was announced after the first season finale on Wednesday. The teaser trailer and key visuals were both revealed as part of the announcement. Studio Passione is handling the animation production for the series.

Ishura anime staff and actors
Takeo Takahashi served as the main director for the anime's first season with Yuuki Ogawa as director. Kenta Ihara handled the script and series layout while Yoko Kikuchi and Yuka Takashina handled the character designs. Masahiro Tokuda (Deca-Dence) composed the music.
Some of the main actors of the anime series include Reina Ueda (Kanao Tsuyuri – Demon Slayer) as Yuno the Distant Talon Yuki Kaji (Eren – Attack on Titan) as Soujirou the Willow Sword Rie Takahashi (Emilia – Re: Zero) as Nihilo the Vortical Stampede Sora Amamiya (Akame – Akame ga Kill) as Curte the Clear Sky Romi Park (Hange – Attack on Titan) as Taren the Punished and Jun Fukuyama (LeLouch – Code Geass) as Ars the Starrider .
The Ishura anime series is based on the light novel written by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta. The novel was originally published on the Kakuyomu and Shousetsuka ni Narou websites before being picked up by ASCII Media Works. There are currently nine volumes published under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei label and no Volume 10 release date. The novel received a manga adaptation with illustrations by Meguri in 2021 and has since released three volumes. .
Yen Press licensed the series in English and describes the plot as: In a world where the Demon King has died, a series of demigods capable of taking him down have inherited the world. A master swordsman can find a way to defeat an opponent with just a look; a spearman so fast he can break the sound barrier; a wyvern rogue who fights with three legendary weapons at once; an omnipotent wizard who can turn thoughts into reality; an angelic assassin that causes instant death. Eager to achieve the title of “True Hero,” each of these champions pursues challenges against formidable enemies and causes conflict between them. The battle to determine the strongest among the mighty begins.
Production of Ishura Season 2 was confirmed on Wednesday, but a release date has not been announced.
