Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends will collaborate with popular store Uniqlo to launch a 50th anniversary clothing collection, taking fans back to the 70s when Hello Kitty was first created .
Via Sanrio's official website, Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and My Melody will all be featured in Uniqlo's new clothing line, seen below, which includes graphic tees and pajama-style pants for pajamas or running chores. Sanrio officially introduced the collection: “To celebrate Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary, Uniqlo will release graphic T-shirts and comfortable apparel! Not only Kitty but also Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and My Melody can become Kitty and travel back in time to the 70s ☆ Be sure to check out the retro and pop collection ♡ Also, Hello Kitty AR filters now available on TikTok! Scan them from POP at UNIQLO stores ♪ Let's celebrate our 50th anniversary together ☆.”

Uniqlo's new Sanrio graphic tees come in seven sizes, from XS to 3XL, while the relaxed clothing line comes in sizes S to 3XL. All cost 1,500 yen (~US$10). Several other projects were also launched in celebration of Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary, including a collaboration with glassware maker JoyJolt to create a limited-edition line of Hello Kitty-inspired products. term.
