Haikyuu’s Miya Atsumu!! not only good at serving in volleyball.
Cosplayer Seanpai Sen added foxy flair to their “best-loved boi ever” portrayal from Haikyuu!!, Miya Atsumu, Inarizaki High School’s staging expert. Wearing a bright red jacket over their school uniform, the cosplayer exudes Atsumu’s confidence as they look to the side, one hand touching their chin with a charming smile on their lips. Jumping behind them is an adorable fox to highlight, like the crows representing Karasuno, Inarizaki Middle School is represented by foxes.
Seanpai Sen’s Cosplay History
With a smile on his face, Seanpai Sen has cosplayed many characters over the past few years. A month before cosplaying Atsumu, they cosplayed as their favorite Hashira from Demon Slayer, the pompous and eccentric Hashira Tengen Uzui, complete with two Nichirin swords. They also dressed up as SK8 the Infinity’s Adam, the legendary skater hiding his identity behind a glittering mask. In addition, they cosplayed as Genshin Impact’s Aratakki Itto and Naruto’s Minato Namikaze, the protagonist’s father.
Miya Atsumu appeared in Season 4 of the anime as one of the players invited to the All Japan Youth Intensive Training Camp, where Kageyama also received an invitation to attend. While Atsumu’s ability to switch from jump server to spike server alone makes him a formidable opponent, Atsumu is, first and foremost, a setter. His setup is on par with and possibly even surpassing that of Kageyama. He was commended for making rounds that made it easier for players to hit the ball and going the extra mile to ensure that he gives his players the best set possible. Paired with his twin Osamu, the two are nearly unstoppable, surpassing in tremendous energy only by Karasuno’s quirky pairing.
