GREAT PRETENDER razbliuto’s anime sequel has revealed its first major trailer, introducing the new characters and their voice actors. WIT Studio is returning to animation and will release in theaters in North America on January 9-10, and will air in Japan via DMM TV on February 23. Watch the new trailer:

The sequel’s main characters and their voice actors were also announced:

The anime will also feature Laurent (CV: Junichi Suwabe). The sequel to GREAT PRETENDER razbliuto will have Hiro Kaburagi returning to direct and he will also be responsible for the script along with Taku Kishimoto. First season writer Ryota Kosawa will also return as script supervisor. Mai Teshima is currently the assistant director, Shosuke Ishibashi joins as animation director.
GREAT PRETENDER is an original anime project from WIT Studio. It was released exclusively on Netflix in two installments, totaling 23 episodes. It features the song The Great Pretender by Freddie Mercury as the opening theme. Netflix describes the story:
Arguably Japan’s greatest conman, Makoto Edamura gets more than he bargained for when he tries to scam Laurent Thierry, a truly world-class criminal. After a string of successful failures, Makoto leaves Laurent’s team. But the web of deception that binds them together goes back further than he knows.
