The latest key visual has been revealed for the upcoming Goodbye, Dragon Life television anime, along with the opening theme and eight new cast members. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024.
The anime's main opening theme song is “Together Forever” by South Korean boy band LUN8.

Kenichi Nishida (Papuwa) will direct the series, with Naokatsu Tsuda (Tokyo 24th Ward director) serving as series scriptwriter and Nozomi Kawashige (Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting Episodes 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12 minor character designer) as main character designer. SynergySP and Vega Entertainment are in charge of animation production.
The light novel series is written by Hiroaki Nagashima and illustrated by Kisuke Ichimaru, first published by AlphaPolis on April 8, 2015. 24 volumes have been released as of March 2024. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on January 20, 2013, but is currently published by AlphaPolis as of August 16, 2016.
The light novels also inspired Kurono's manga adaptation and have been serialized on AlphaPolis' manga website since December 22, 2015. Twelve tankobon volumes have been released as of March 2024.
