Kanojo, Okarishimasu: Suiheisen to Mizugi no Kanojo launches for Switch and PS4
MAGES. announced on Monday that Kanojo, Okarishimasu: Suiheisen to Mizugi no Kanojo (Rent-A-Girlfriend: The Girl in a Swim on the Horizon), the first adventure game based on Reiji Miyajima's Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) series, will launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on November 28. Pre-orders for the game are now open.

The limited edition of the game will include a box with exclusive illustrations, a series of four “fantasy drama” CDs, and an original soundtrack. All pre-orders will include one of five randomly distributed exclusive illustrations drawn by Reiji Miyajima.
The game will feature a completely original story set on an island in the summer, where five heroines will experience part-time jobs for a week.
The first anime season premiered on the Animeism programming block in July 2020 and aired for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide except Asia. The second season premiered in July 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.
The third season of the anime premiered in July 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the season worldwide except Asia. The new season has 12 episodes.
The anime will have a fourth season in 2025.

Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old former college student who failed. He tried to kiss his girlfriend once but was dumped after a month. “Ugh… Damn it. I never want to go through that again.” Completely bitter, Kazuya uses a certain method to date a girl. He goes to the meeting place and suddenly hears “Are you Kazuya-kun?” A beautiful girl who brushes her long black hair behind her ears is there, smiling at him. Her name is Mizuhara Chizuru. Something really is born after just one rental! A romantic comedy full of love and excitement is about to begin!
Miyajima launched the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in July 2017. Kodansha USA is releasing the manga in English.
The manga also inspired a live-action film series set to premiere in July 2022.
