HoYoVerse's hugely popular Genshin Impact game has received a new anime short from popular anime studio Ufotable, best known for adapting the Demon Slayer and Fate adaptations.
Genshin Impact's official YouTube channel revealed a seven-minute anime series on April 17, 2024, titled “Jinchuu Uta” or “The Song Burning in the Embers”, referring to House of the Hearth, currently Run by the silver-haired Arlecchino. Readers can check out the Genshin Impact anime short, which focuses on Arlecchino's storyline and was animated by Ufotable, below.

Arlecchino is voiced by actor Nanako Mori, appearing in the famous movie Brave Bang Braven! animated series in Japan and the highly successful Mobile Suit from studio SEED Freedom. The short film follows the official trailer released on April 16, which delighted many with its promise to reveal Arlecchino's backstory and precedes her addition in Genshin Impact version 4.6 as a 5-star Pyro character.
Genshin Impact's 'Song Burning in the Embers' Is the First of Many Ufotable Collaborations
Song Burning in the Embers is just one of many HoYoVerse x Ufotable projects to look forward to in the coming years. The pair announced the partnership in 2022, saying: “Let us enter this vast world of magical adventure together! The long-term collaboration project between Genshin Impact and Ufotable has begun.” Despite worries about the relative lack of anime updates, fans remain confident in the quality of Ufotable, which is expected to return this May after Demon Slayer Season 4 received official release date.
