The Fureru (Touch) movie has revealed a new trailer ahead of its October 4th release in Japan. The new trailer features the theme song “Monotone” by YOASOBI and offers new insights into the plot:

Aniplex and STORY Inc. are producing the film, which will be distributed by Toho and Aniplex. The film marks the return of the trio known for their “heart-shaking” trilogy (Anohana, Her Blue Sky, The Anthem of the Heart). Last week, the film announced nine new cast members, all of whom voice characters from the trilogy:
This will be Nagai's first major directorial work since 2020's A Certain Scientific Railgun T. In addition to the aforementioned films and the Railgun series, he is also known for the films Honey and Clover II and Toradora. Masayoshi Tanaka and Mari Okada also worked on Toradora. Tanaka's major works include the hit films Your Name, Weathering With You, and Suzume, while Okada is known for her work on Black Butler, Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms, and O Maidens in Your Savage Season. Her latest film, Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou, premiered in Japan last year and is now available to stream on Netflix. It premiered on January 15.
