The short anime will feature plump and chubby “Pocha” animals such as Pocha-kirin (giraffe), Pocha-zō (elephant), and Pocha-kame (turtle).
The director, writer, and character designer of this short anime is YouTube animator Sorotani (anime spinoff short Dokonjo Gaeru Yanen).
The anime will air this fall on Fuji TV. It will be streamed on FOD (Fuji TV On Demand) and other websites, and will also be shown on digital billboards.
The Pochazu short anime is the first project between Fuji TV and DLE's partnership to develop and build a business through original IP.
