The Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga will return from hiatus next week, which means the series will return in the next issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday on Wednesday, August 7. The manga has been on indefinite hiatus without stating a reason.

Kanehito Yamada writes the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga, with Tsukasa Abe as the artist. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday manga magazine since April 2020. You can read the manga via Sunday Webry, Viz Media, and the Shogakukan Comic website.
An anime adaptation of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End was animated by MADHOUSE and aired from September 2023 to March 2024. It doubled manga sales during its debut run, and the anime was voted Best Fall 2023 Anime. It also won the awards for Best Boy (Stark), Best Girl (Fern), Best Adaptation, Best Drama, and Best Opening (“Yuusha” by YOASOBI).
In our 2023 Anime of the Year Awards, Frieren won Best New Anime, Best Adaptation, Best Fantasy, Best Adventure, and placed 2nd in Best Drama and 3rd in Best Animation.
