What happened in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode #12?
Episode #12 begins with Frieren passing out from the cold and remembering the first time her previous group met the king. This transitions wonderfully to when her present group arrives at the village protecting the true hero’s sword. After destroying a group of monsters there, it is revealed that Himmel was actually unable to get that sword, which shocks Stark. The rest of the episode then focuses on Stark as he remembers his past in a warrior village and realizes that his brother may be kinder to him than he thought.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode #13 Will Return to Origins
While Frieren needs to be certified as a mage soon to allow her group to travel unhindered in the far north, it will likely take time for the series to get there. Along the way, Frieren, Fern, and Stark will almost certainly encounter villages that need their help in one way or another. This would give the show more episodes like the great first episodes of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. While this may be frustrating for fans who want to see Frieren and her friends complete their missions as quickly as possible, the show is naturally engaging so the episode will still likely excellent.
Since Frieren and her friends are now further north, they may also encounter some additional demonic forces. With the Demon King’s base of operations in the north, this was practically inevitable before the season ended. These characters are several Freezing: Beyond Journey’s Endthe most intriguing villains so this will also make for a great experience episode #13.
Do not miss Freezing: Beyond Journey’s End episode #13 when it airs on Crunchyroll on December 1, 2023.
