The upcoming Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime has revealed a new trailer along with the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song will be performed by YOASOBI titled “Yuusha” while the ending theme song “Anytime Anywhere” will be performed by Milet. The series will premiere on September 29 with a two-hour special.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s Final Trailer
Studio Madhouse (A Place Further Than the Universe) will animate the film with Keiichirou Saito (Bocchi the Rock!) as director. Other staff members include Tomohiro Suzuki (One Punch Man) as scriptwriter, Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) as composer, and Reiko Nagasawa (takt op. Destiny) as character designer. Meanwhile, Atsumi Tanezaki will voice the main character Frieren and the rest of the cast includes Nobuhiko Okamoto as Himmel, Hiroki Tochi as Heiter, Yoji Ueda as Eisen, Kana Ichinose as Fern and Chiaki Kobayashi as Stark. The drama recently revealed the new group’s image.

What will happen from Frieden: Beyond Journey’s Ending Anime?
The anime is based on the manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Shonen Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since April 2020. Viz Media is licensing the manga in English and describes the plot as follows:
The elf mage Frieren and her brave adventurers defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the land. When the great struggle ended, they all went their separate ways to live a quiet life. But as an elf, Frieren, almost immortal, will outlive the rest of her old group. How will she deal with the death of her friends? How can she find fulfillment in her own life and can she learn to understand what life means to those around her? Frieren begins a new journey to find the answer.
