For My Abandoned Love Chapter 69 opens with Hestia meeting Helio but this time Helio starts acting a little differently. Helio asked Hestia if she was hurt and he became truly concerned for her. The focus then shifts to the past to explain why Helio acted the way he did.

Helio asks Hestia if she has anything important to tell him since she came all the way even though it was raining heavily. Hestia is upset because she is the one who decides whether her foresight is important or not but Helio always tries to act smart in front of her.

Helio asked Hestia if she had a new foresight about the empire’s borders, but Hestia disagreed. She then gave an envelope to Helios because she thought it might be valuable to him. Helio reads the envelope’s contents and discovers that Baron Potos’ merchant ship is sinking.

Helio said that there must have been many nobles who invested in these merchant ships. Hestia agreed with Helio saying that she had met Baron and she had also verified him. She added that the sinking would cause a lot of damage.

Hestia thought about everything that had happened so far and wondered if there was anything strange. Hestia only decided to tell Helios about her foresight for the merchant ships because she wanted Diana to invest in them and so even if Helios had some doubts about the matter, he would still trust the vision her distance.

Hestia knew that Diana wouldn’t believe her foresight but if Helio told her about it she might be willing to put aside her hatred and invest in merchant ships. Hestia told Helio that she wanted to tell the people who had invested in merchant ships that the ships were about to sink but Kael stopped her from doing so.

Hestia says there is always a risk when investing and that also applies to merchant ships, there is no way to protect the investment. Helio asked Hestia that if the investment scale was large, the loss would be equivalent to the loss of an entire empire. To solve this problem, Hestia advised discouraging nobles from investing.

Hestia added that the nobles wouldn’t believe it if they heard that it was just some foresight and so she would just ask everyone to limit their investments. Helio considered all the factors and agreed that Hestia’s advice was the best course of action at this time.

Hestia thinks she has almost completed her plan because the only thing left now is for Helio to tell Diana about this foresight. Hestia decided to leave but she felt a bit sad after seeing Helio being so stressed about the matter.

Helio scoffs and says there is something else he wants to discuss with Hestia. He asked Hestia if she was hurt. The focus then shifts to Hestia recalling this conversation with Kael. Kael couldn’t understand that Helio was trying to ask about Hestia’s health because he was usually cold and silent.

Hestia says that Helio’s strange behavior could be due to what happened during the tea party. Kael became quite angry and thought that he should have gone with Hestia so he could keep Helio quiet. Kael asked Hestia if Helio said anything else. Hestia remembers what Helio said and the focus shifts back to Hestia and Helio talking in the office.

Helio tells Hestia that he is having trouble talking to Diana. He adds that Diana has been avoiding him since the tea party, which may be due to Hestia’s insults. Hestia says she can apologize for her words but she doesn’t think Helio and Diana will apologize for insulting her and Kael.

Helio says he can apologize for that but Hestia says she doesn’t need his apology. She tells Helio to stop defending such a self-righteous woman. Helio was angry with Hestia for her comment but he chose to stay silent because he knew she was right.
