In the Dragon Ball Super manga universe, Vegeta goes from villain to hero, reaching new levels of power by transforming into his ultimate form known as Ultra Ego. This transformation is only available in the manga, and has not yet appeared in the currently on hiatus Dragon Ball Super anime. However, through new fan art, we can see how Vegeta appears in his Ultra Ego form when colored.
The image of Vegeta in his Ultra Ego form was released on Instagram by Fellipe (@fellipart), a talented illustrator known for depicting iconic scenes and characters from the Dragon Ball franchise. After being shared on social networks, Fellipe's artwork received many positive reviews from netizens.
This image shows how epic Ultra Ego's anime debut will be. Fellipe drew Vegeta wearing his usual Saiyan armor, suggesting the character has faced a difficult battle. Almost all of his left outfit was torn and his body also had injuries.
The illustrator perfectly expressed Vegeta's stance and determination, stubbornness. The character carries purple energy, has no eyebrows, clear muscles, and bulging veins.
Fellipe also gave fans two other versions of this piece, one with a darker, more sinister shadow replacing the beam of light seen behind Vegeta and a simple sketch showing the origin of the work.
Additionally, Fellipe also creates fanart for characters in many other anime franchises, such as One Piece, Naruto, One Punch Man, Yu-Gi-Oh, and even the video game The King of Fighters.
In the Dragon Ball universe, Vegeta's Ultra Ego form is equivalent to Goku's near-omnipotent Ultra Instinct form. Debuting in the Dragon Ball Super manga Granolah the Survivor Saga, the Ultra Ego form is shown to be Vegeta's strongest. This transformation harnesses the God of Destruction's abilities, amplifying Vegeta's already formidable rage, providing the Saiyan Prince with enough power to completely destroy his opponents.
