What happened in Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode 3?
Episode #3 Reveals the Truth About Touka and Mercphobia
Episode #3 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest begins with the appearance of Mercphobia, after which Kiria and Madmole are taken away by Skullion, another Dragon member of the Diabolos Guild with Corpse Dragon Slayer Magic. Mercphobia then invites Natsu and the rest to his shrine, where they meet Karameel, a human saved and raised by the Water Dragon God.
Surprisingly, Mercphobia seems to be quite hospitable to Natsu and the rest and seems to care for the well-being of the people of Ermina. However, he admits that he has gone on a rampage and agrees that he needed to be sealed because he lost control of his powers, which is why Ermina is constantly drowning in the tides. Mercphobia also reveals that his powers were stolen by the White Mage and he wanted to recover them before being sealed in order to save the town of Ermina.
Back in Ishgar, Gajeel, Lily, and Juvia continue to track Touka, the newest member of Fairy Tail, who visits Natsu and Happy's house, then Lucy's apartment. Meanwhile, Jellal visits Blue Pegasus, where he also warns them about Touka. While visiting Mermaid Scale, Jellal learns from Kagura that Touka has indeed joined Fairy Tail. Jellal then reveals that Touka is a White Mage, just like the ones who stole Mercphobia's power.
Meanwhile, Kiria, Madmole, and Skullion attack Natsu and the others, with Natsu confronting Madmole, Gray fighting Skullion, and Erza confronting Kiria. Shockingly, all of Fairy Tail's mages are overpowered by the Dragon Eaters, leaving the future of the 100-year quest in doubt.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest Episode #4 Will See Natsu And Friends Escape From Dragon Eaters
Considering their disastrous defeat, episode #4 of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will likely see Natsu and the rest captured by the Dragon Eaters. While their motives are still unclear, it probably won't be long; Natsu and the others will be able to escape. For now, Kiria seems to have completely overpowered Erza but hopefully she will also be able to escape Kiria's power soon.
Since Jellal finally discovers Touka's whereabouts, the upcoming episode will likely see Jellal confront Touka, although this may be more difficult now that Touka has officially become a member of Fairy Tail, thus earning their loyalty and protection.
It can't be a coincidence that Touka, a supposed White Mage, also uses water magic like the Water God, who conveniently had his magic stolen by such a White Mage. Therefore, the upcoming episode will likely confirm whether these two incidents are indeed related and whether Fairy Tail's newest member is really as dangerous as Jellal implies. Fairy Tail: 100 Year Adventure is shaping up to be an exciting new journey with a compelling story finally beginning to unfold.
