Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Episode 8 Review:This episode is a treat for all the Naruto x Lucy fans who couldn't get a satisfactory conclusion to the Naruto x Lucy question. Let's see how this episode plays out.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Episode 7 Summary
Although the situation had stabilized, Naruto was still unhappy with how the battle went. He was troubled by the loss of control after absorbing Ignia's flames and could not remember much of what had happened. However, he was extremely grateful to Lucy, the only one who could bring him back from his destructive rampage.
The people of Guiltina, initially in disbelief, accepted the fact that they were once humans and had been transformed into fish by the power of Mercphobia. They mourned the loss of the water dragon god, whom they had greatly revered. But in a surprising twist, it was revealed that Mercphobia had not actually died. Instead, he had been transformed back into a human, allowing him to finally live peacefully among his people without the fear of being hunted for his powers.
We also get introduced to the Guild Master of Diabolos in this episode. He exudes a more terrifying and ruthless look than any guild member we've seen so far. Meanwhile, Touka, who defeated the Fairy Tail members, is now hunting down Naruto and his companions, determined to defeat them.

Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest Episode 8 Review and Recap
Today’s episode was a good one for all the shippers as we got to see some much-awaited lovey-dovey moments between the main characters. In the last episode, we saw how Erza found her doppelganger Elkis who works at the Fairy Nail entertainment guild. All the members here look exactly like the members of the Fairy Tail guild. Here, we also got Naruto and Lucy’s lookalikes named Nakku and Lusha, along with a Gray lookalike named Gren and a twin brother of Juvia named Juvina.
The only difference is that everyone here has a very different style. personality, and they all have different professions. Nakku is an actor, Lusha is his manager, on the other hand, Gren is a pole dancer, and Juvina is a topless dancer. Similarly, the others also have a place in the entertainment industry.
One thing to note is that the main characters of this Guild, especially Nakku with Lusha, and Gren with Juvina, are very much in love with each other, contrary to their original versions.
However, Elkis doesn't seem to have a Jellal clone in her life. She also seems to be struggling with the concept of love, something she has to come to grips with ahead of her upcoming stage play. As such, the first half has eased some of the tension for us fans who were still upset about Naruto and Lucy not being together when the original manga ended. At least now we have some confirmation regarding the Juvia x Gray ship.
But that's not the highlight of the episode, it's the sudden appearance of the Forest Dragon God that was so unexpected. After Naruto and his team discovered his whereabouts, they were left with another dilemma, due to the dragon's huge size and location, it was difficult to seal it without causing harm to others.
Verdict
This episode starts off on a very light note and makes us feel like it’s going to be a happy-go-lucky journey. However, towards the end, we get a sense of how big of a problem the white wizards can be for our heroes. The mystery of Touka and what happened to the Fairy Tail guild will be explored in the next episode.
