A lot has happened since The Worst Generation was first introduced back in the year A piece and readers are left wondering where these groundbreaking pirates are now. Although added at the last minute by Oda at the time, each member is more unique than the previous one and elevates the title of Pirate King even more. However, no one can understand the role of the Worst Generation in the series.
Many of these new recruits participated in several events that forever changed the world of One Piece and shaped the story as we know it, living up to the reputation that earned them their nicknames. While most join the alliance to survive in the brutal New World, some continue to move in the shadows, silently pulling the strings in the background.
6 Bege goes on an adventure to find Lola
The manly Capone Bege and the Fire Tank pirates played a fairly important role on Whole Cake Island in supporting the Straw Hats but little is known about what happened to them afterward. Luckily, Bege received a cover story of his own in a manga titled Gang Bege’s Oh My Family, which spanned several chapters starting with Chapter #948.
The cover story follows the fire tank pirates as they set out to find Lola under Chiffon’s orders. Leaving Lola’s last known location, the crew decides to head to Thriller Bark but are stopped by increased security at the Red Line due to Reverie. With no other options, Bege and crew travel to Dressrosa, where amidst the chaos and fighting, Gotti mistakes Lola for Chiffon and saves her from the Marines until the real Chiffon appears and clears her. dispel confusion. The two sisters reunite and also meet Pound, who finally proves he is indeed Chiffon and Lola’s father. The cover story ends with the crew holding a celebration as cannonballs rain down on the wedding of Gotti and Lola, the latter of whom proposed to him after he saved her.
Considering many of the Worst Generation faced a rather grim fate, it seems that Bege was especially lucky in that regard. While the anime is now fully capable of adapting more interesting events, Bege’s wholesome family story is certainly worth looking forward to and could be adapted along with the rest of the Reverie Arc.
5 Urouge was last seen at Balloon Terminal
Mad Monk Urouge is easily the most mysterious character in The Worst Generation. Little is known about him other than that he comes from an island in the sky thanks to his Birkan-like wings and his extremely similar appearance to the High Priests of Enel. However, Urouge has improved quite a bit since Sabaody. During the timeskip, Urouge and his teammates entered Tottoland where he defeated Charlotte Snack but was ultimately defeated by Charlotte Cracker. Since then, Urouge was last seen near the sky island that Kaido jumped from in Chapter #795.
Although the series hasn’t said much about him since then, given the Straw Hats’ tendency to encounter a member of the Worst Generation in each new story arc, it probably won’t be long until Urouge and The Fallen Monk pirates appear.
4 Drake, Hawkins and Apoo were last seen in Wano
While Scratchmen Apoo was lucky to escape the chaos on Onigashima unscathed, X Drake and Basil Hawkins were not so lucky. Hawkins was defeated by Killer while Drake was injured while fighting against CP0 agents at Onigashima. The two were last seen in Chapter #1052, critically injured inside the castle, with Hawkins seemingly dying from his injuries. Although it is possible that Drake could survive, Chapter #1061 reveals that the Marines have been unable to contact him since his fate was undecided.
As for Hawkins, although his death has not yet been confirmed, it is highly unlikely that he survived his final conversation with Drake when he revealed that he had predicted his death. himself after the events at Onigashima. Meanwhile, Apoo was last seen in Chapter #1053 in Udon, where he gave Kid a newspaper with a new bounty poster just one chapter before. Although Apoo has not been seen since then, considering his strong sense of self-preservation, he may have escaped from Wano and still be alive and well.
3 Law, Kid and Killer are defeated by the emperor
Although Law and Kid were lucky to survive facing the Emperor once, it seemed their luck ran out the second time. After Law, Kid and Killer left Wano, they were all unfortunately destroyed. Law unfortunately fell into Blackbeard’s ambush while Kid was humiliated by Shanks, who taught him a rather quick lesson on Elbaf.
Judging by the damage suffered by Kid’s crew and ship, it seems unlikely that Kid or Killer could have survived Shanks’s Divine Departure. At best, both could be seriously injured. As for the Heart Pirates, fortunately, there seemed to be some hope for their captain when Bepo saved Law from a tragic fate at the hands of the Blackbeard Pirates in Chapter #1081.
2 Luffy, Zoro and Bonney were cornered in Egghead
Although the specifics of Luffy and Zoro’s adventures after arriving in the New World are well known, Bonney only made a few appearances in the series up until Egghead. However, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t done much since arriving in the New World. Not only was she captured by the Blackbeard Pirates and Akainu, but she also escaped from the Marines, infiltrated Pangea Castle by pretending to be a noble, and escaped from the Sanctuary again by hiding on a ship. .
From there, Bonney travels to Egghead Island to seek answers from Vegapunk about her father Kuma, where she is currently located. Admittedly, things don’t seem to be going well at Egghead as the Marines have sent a large portion of their strength including Admiral Kizaru, 9 Vice Admirals and 100 ships to surround the island, all of which commanded by one of the Five Elders. Bonney clearly has a big role in all of this too, considering how much Vegapunk seems to care about her.
1 Blackbeard can be directed towards Egghead
While the situation on Egghead may be chaotic right now, things could escalate even further if Blackbeard is also heading towards the futuristic island. Considering Blackbeard was last seen at Winner Island, not far from Egghead, the ship seen heading towards Egghead in Chapter #1079 may actually have Blackbeard on board along with Burgess, Van Augur, Doc Q, and even Catarina Devon and Laffitte, who were noticeably missing from Fullalead. As unlikely as it seems, the ship seen approaching Egghead actually contains the Jolly Roger of the Blackbeard Pirates and bears a striking resemblance to the ship seen in Chapter #1064 during the battle against the Heart Pirates .
Overall, the Worst Generation has truly lived up to its name and reputation, and although recent events have removed many players from the table, the final episode will likely see some of them return in the final, epic fight for One Piece. After all, if there is one thing A piece has taught fans for years that no character truly dies unless explicitly stated, so perhaps there’s still hope for some of the Worst Generation members.
