Japanese voice actress rock group EverdreaM will perform the ending theme for the upcoming Re:Monster anime. The song is “Sadame.” The unit includes Matsuoka Misato and Sekine Hitomi. They previously performed the opening theme songs for Rokudo’s Bad Girls and Berserk of Gluttony.
Studio DEEN is working on an adaptation of Re:Monster. Takayuki Inagaki will direct the film, with Hiroshi Yamaguchi in charge of editing the film. Meanwhile, Junichi Takaoka is designing the characters and Go Sakabe is composing the music. Genco is producing the series. The anime’s cast includes:
- Takuya Sato plays Gobru
- Kenta Hosoda as Gobkichi
- Ai Kakuma as Gobmi
- This Ueda as Gobe
- Mai Kanno as Akagami Shoto
Anime Re:Monsters is based on the light novel series by Kogitsune Kanekiru with illustrations by Yamaada. It was first published in Shosetsuka ni Naro from 2011 to 2018. The title was later acquired by AlphaPolis and serialized from 2012 to 2017. A manga adaptation by Haruyoshi Kobayakawa was serialized online on AlphaPolis’ manga website since March 2014. The series also spawned a sequel novel series written by Kanekiru and illustrated by Naji Yanagida, titled Re:Monster: Ankoku Tairiku-hen.
Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga in English, describing the plot as follows: When a young man begins a new life as a lowly elf, he overcomes all obstacles with a combination of of strength, intelligence and fierce desire in this action-packed comic book movie. fantasy comics! Tomokui Kanata has suffered an untimely death, but his adventure is far from over. He is reincarnated into a fantasy world of monsters and magic—as a lowly goblin!
