Endroll Back’s story follows the suicide of the main character, Asaharu’s younger sister, Yuka. She is a victim of bullying. After her sister’s death, her brother Asaharu became frustrated with himself. However, an angel comes into his life, offering him a deal.
If Asaharu can find her sister’s killer within three months, she can be resurrected. However, for every wish granted, nothing is granted without a reward. If Asaharu made a mistake or made a mistake in finding his sister’s killer, his lifespan would decrease.
The game begins when Asaharu accepts the deal, and he is transferred to his high school but as an assistant to the homeroom teacher.
However, before the angel could explain the rules of the game Asaharu signed up for, he grabbed a guy by the neck because he was the one Asaharu assumed had bullied Yuka. He cuts his throat, but the angel calls Asaharu an idiot. We see Asaharu in front of the classroom, and the boy he just killed has been resurrected.
However, Asaharu felt a sharp pain, and he quickly realized the condition of the game, that if he did it wrong, his life span would be shortened by ten years. So with this, the fun begins again.
End Rollback Chapter 3: Summary
Asaharu killed Shimizu Akane, but she wasn’t his sister’s killer. Asaharu’s lifespan was reduced as a result. Asaharu then picks up a new skill called object duplication, which allows him to clone objects. For example, a phone will be duplicated with all its data. If a text is sent on a real phone, the same thing happens in the copy. However, the screen cannot be mirrored; if you open the camera on the real phone, the duplicate phone will not follow that idea but open the camera.
Asaharu started his introduction and realized that the reason why he lost was because he was too hasty. To find out who killed Yuka, he will have to slow things down, and he has three months to find the culprit. He will bring Yuka back no matter what. He made a habit of meeting Himeno Saeki, chatting with one of his colleagues, and then meeting three basketball players, including Shimizu.
So far, everything has gone the same as in the previous loop. He meets one of the girls who was her friend as a freshman. She told him to hold a teachers meeting to sort things out. She told him that, in the end, the teachers didn’t care about the students. Then he took her away. The angel tells Asaharu that Shimizu has nothing to do with this anymore, but Asaharu is on a mission to restore the relationship that Shimizu and his sister had during their freshman year.
Through his copying ability, he clones Shimizu’s phone and discovers that Yuka likes keychains. Akane gave her a keychain that she hung from her schoolbag. Asaharu intended to find out why Shimizu bullied Yuka, and it seems she did it as a last resort. Asaharu runs into Shimizu, picks up her phone and gives it to her but tells her that if she needs someone to talk to, he’ll be there.
Akane saves Yuka from being bullied in the basketball room. After the practice session ended, she was seen cleaning the place herself because she was ordered to, and everyone left the house. Akane helps Yuka out and says she doesn’t mind helping her out.
While Yuka was rummaging through her bag, Akane received a message saying that she should take Yuka to the empty classroom on the 3rd floor and make sure she doesn’t run away. They even indirectly threatened Shimizu. They stole something from Yuka’s bag and said they would return it to her if she went to the old building. They took a keychain from Yuka. She tells Akane that she won’t run away from them because she doesn’t know what they will do to Akane.
As they enter the old classroom, we see Nami holding a stick and Sumire sitting on a chair. Nami told Sumire to close the door and showed the keychain to Yuka. It was the keychain that Shimizu gave her. Yuka will only get the keychain if she quits basketball. After being blackmailed many times, Yuka decided to leave the basketball team and get the keychain because it was important to her. However, if she continued to bring it to school, Akane might get a bad reputation, so she didn’t hang it on the strap of her school bag. Nami then tells Yuka that she doesn’t need her right arm anymore because she gave up basketball. She’s also a stumbling block for the team, so it would be a good puzzle. She can’t suddenly give up basketball, so Nami will break her right arm as a good reason to give up basketball.
Akane retorted but was overpowered by Nami. She tells Akane to keep watching. Both Nami and Sumire smirked, and when Yuka was about to run away, Sumire grabbed her and restrained her. When Nami was about to hit Yuka with a stick, Shimizu stopped her and cried because Yuka only thought about Shimizu even when she was being bullied. Nami became agitated and tried to hit Shimizu, but Asaharu broke the window with glass and interrupted when Shimizu called for help.
Asaharu tells them that this was a case of bullying, but both Nami and Sumire tell him that he doesn’t know what happened because they were just talking and it was Asaharu who broke the window. However, Asaharu recorded them bullying Yuka due to a spell that copied his subject. As a result, both Nami and Sumire are called to the teacher’s office, where Asaharu is forced to confess to understand why Nami was bullying Yuka. Nami said that she wanted Yuka, so she persistently bullied her.
