Addressing concerns about his health, Oda reassured fans that he is in good health. The rest is mainly for self-maintenance and perhaps to reflect on the overarching story of One Piece, including the mystery of the titular treasure, One Piece itself.
Oda encourages fans who are attempting to grasp the connections between characters in the Egghead Arc to explore their past relationships. He recommends reading about these connections in free episodes available for a limited time on the Jump+ and Zebrack platforms.
Furthermore, Oda encouraged fans to explore other One Piece content during the hiatus. He specifically mentioned the live-action One Piece series on Netflix and the anime adaptation of his one-shot Monsters.
In addition, Oda also introduced to fans “ANYTIME ONE PIECE”, a special broadcast commemorating the 25th anniversary of the anime. Initially available on YouTube, this streamer chapter will soon be available on TikTok starting March 23, 2024.
