Electronic Arts, the publisher of many sports games on the market, along with big brands such as Battlefield, Mass Effect, Star War… is considering putting advertising in its video games such as a source of revenue. Back in 2020, EA once placed The Boys movie image ads in between fights in the game UFC 4. Gamers' reaction at that time was quite negative. This caused EA to remove the ad after a short time.
