HIDIVE is on the rise! Following the news of acquiring the streaming rights to the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction anime, they have now announced the addition of the upcoming anime Dungeon People (or Dungeon no Naka no Hito in Japanese).
The series will premiere in Japan on July 5, with a special screening of the first episode at Anime Expo on July 6 at 5:45 p.m. PST.
The cast features Sayaka Senbongi as Clay, Sayumi Suzushiro as Belle, Naomi Kusumi as Rangado, Nobuo Tobita as Old Master, Hochu Ohtsuka as Renfringe and MAO as Furin.
OLM is producing the anime, directed by Sayaka Yamai, best known for Fantasy Bishojo Juniku Ojisan to. Toshimitsu Takeuchi, best known for Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold, will oversee the script. Hiromi Nakayama, who worked on ODDTAXI and Odd Taxi: In the Woods, will be in charge of character design. Music composed by Pieru and LASTorder.
Sui Hutami's original manga is available in the US through Seven Seas Entertainment, describing the plot as follows:
Clay, trained by her father to be an expert thief, has been searching for him in dungeons filled with goblins, Minotaurs, and other dangerous creatures since he disappeared three years ago.
