The latest chapter in the Dragon Ball Super manga not only concludes the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film adaptation, but also marks the end of the late Akira Toriyama's guidance on the franchise.
Available to read on the Viz Media website and app, Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103 picks up where the previous chapter left off. Gohan is testing the limits of his new transformation called Beast Gohan that he acquired during his fight against Cell Max. After successfully defeating Goten and Trunks in their failed fusion forms, Gohan challenges his father, Goku, in his Ultra Instinct form. The scene where Goku tells Gohan that he can rest easy knowing that the Earth will be protected while he's gone, followed by Gohan's shocked reaction to his father's message, takes place differently after the departure recently by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama.
