DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO will be released on Friday, October 11, 2024, alongside the upcoming premiere of the new anime Dragon Ball: Daima. The game will feature a total of 180 characters, including characters from Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, and 12 movies. Fans who pre-order the game will receive a pre-order bonus figure in Goku (mini) for the release of Daima. You can see the entire character field below:
The game will have different modes including Episode Battles, Custom Battles, Ranked Battles, and Tournaments. Custom Battles will also come with “Bonus Battles” that will include original battle scenarios that require different conditions to achieve victory. Fans will also be able to enjoy Edit Mode, allowing users to upload battles for others to experience.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO is developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Spike Chunsoft previously worked on the game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, which was released in 2005. It was the first console game in the series in 14 years, with Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 being the first game. Previously released in 2010.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking ZERO will be released on Friday, October 11, 2024. The upcoming anime series Dragon Ball: Daima produced by Toei Animation will release on the same day. Fans will be able to watch the series on Crunchyroll with English subtitles. The English dub will premiere in three episodes in US theaters from November 10 to 12.
