Based on the official product description, the GT Trunks anime figure “employs state-of-the-art articulation” allowing for a variety of poses. Specifically, Trunk’s jacket “has been crafted with soft parts and meticulously divided into different sections, so fans can recreate poses from various action scenes! ” Buyers can even swap out Trunk’s leg parts, allowing the figure to pose with his hands in his pockets. On top of that, the GT Trunks figure also features an interchangeable tail for the SHFiguarts Goku -GT- (sold separately). Dragon Ball GT is one of the most controversial entries of the franchise
Although Dragon Ball GT is the third main anime television series in the Dragon Ball franchise, it is often considered the black sheep of the family. Unlike previous series, GT is not based on a pre-existing story by the late Akira Toriyama. Instead, it’s a sequel to the original anime that attempts to combine the youthful spirit of the original 1986 series with the more dramatic atmosphere of Dragon Ball Z, with mixed results.

Akira Toriyama “Participates like never before” in the new Dragon Ball Daima anime
The late manga legend Akira Toriyama played a vital role in the development of Dragon Ball Daima, as assured by the executive producer of the upcoming anime.
Despite its poor reception, GT appears to have been at least partly the inspiration for Dragon Ball Daima, as both series revolve around Goku being turned back into a child. However, Daima went a step further and turned the entire main cast into children such as Vegeta, Krillin, and even Master Roshi. What’s interesting is that Trunks and Goten return to their child forms. Despite Toriyama’s sudden passing, the famous manga artist is still heavily involved in the production of the new anime commemorating the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
