In the current context of Dragon ball, goku has become so powerful that he can channel divine-like energy that he can use to defeat even the strongest of enemies, but he is still no match for the God of Destruction, Lord Beerus. However, there is another earth warrior who has an ability that Goku can never achieve, and with that power, can defeat Beerus in just a few seconds. Unfortunately, Goku accidentally killed him.
Lord Beerus first appeared in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 1 by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou. In this chapter, Beerus is searching for a being prophesied that will eventually kill him, a being known as the Super Saiyan God. So Beerus tracks down the few remaining Saiyans in the universe, and one of them is in the world of King Kai – a Saiyan named Goku. When Beerus meets Goku, he is completely unimpressed even when Goku powers up to Super Saiyan 3. To defeat him, Beerus simply flicks Goku’s forehead with such force that Goku is almost powerless after taking an easy hit.
Goku’s killing of Carrotter may have destroyed the Earth
In Dragon Ball chapter 51, Goku is fighting Master Roshi in the World Martial Arts Tournament for a chance to be named the greatest fighter on the planet. However, in the middle of their fight, Goku transforms into a Great Ape under the full moon and goes insane, destroying the arena and nearly killing everyone around. To stop the rampage, Roshi used the Kamehameha explosion to destroy the Moon, thereby stripping Goku of his Great Ape powers and returning him to normal. While it’s a solid solution, if it’s over the top, Roshi, and by extension Goku, committed murder when Roshi blew up the Moon, since people lived there before it was destroyed.
In Dragon Ball Chapter 17, Goku confronts a villain known as the Carrotter, a human-sized rabbit and gang leader capable of turning anyone he touches into a carrot. While he was a formidable foe, Goku was able to defeat Carrotter by pinning him to the end of his staff and sending the weapon to the Moon, where Carrotter would spend the rest of his days in exile. Since Lord Beerus has proven his favorite attack when fighting what he thinks his subordinates are snapping on their heads, there is reason for him to do so if he ever fought a Carrotter, and would therefore be turned into a carrot. However, readers will never know if Carrotter actually defeated Beerus, because Carrotter presumably died when Goku forced Roshi to destroy the Moon.
Although Lord Beerus has proven himself to be an ally of Goku and the rest of the Z Warriors over the course of Dragon Ball Super, he remains extremely unpredictable and can destroy Earth on a whim. Such a threat is simply too great for any defense, and Carrotter could be Earth’s answer to Beerus should a potentially devastating situation arise. Unfortunately, goku accidentally killed Carrotter early Dragon balleliminate one of Earth’s best solutions to the problem posed by Beerus.
