That is why the representatives of the series conducted a survey, to evaluate the fiercest battles in the 40 years of existence, of one of the most famous anime series in history.
Fans simply went to the official Dragon Ball website and voted for their favorite battles from the 165 battles Goku has gone through. The poll was held to celebrate Goku Day this year on May 9. After a month of polling, the results of the poll are now in, with a total of 21,272 votes cast from around the world.
“As long as Goku enters the contest with fighting spirit, everything counts. Battles against inorganic enemies also count. However, rocks and the like whose destruction is merely a casualty of another battle do not count.
The time from the start of a fight until the fight stops counts as one battle. Characters that Goku fights more than once will be included in the lineup as many times as they fought Goku!”those responsible for conducting the survey explained.
