Three new cast members and the ending theme song have been revealed for the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima television anime. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 11, 2024 with an extended first episode.
The new cast includes Showtaro Morikubo as Gomah, Junya Enoki as Degesu, and Yoko Hikasa as Dr. Arinsu.
They join other new cast additions such as Yumiko Kobayashi as Supreme Kai (Mini), Koki Uchiyama as Glorio, and Fairouz Ai as Panzy.
The ending theme is “NAKAMA” by ZEDD feat. AI. ZEDD is also credited for the opening theme song “Jaka Jaan,” along with C&K.
Yoshitaka Yashima (Dragon Ball Super storyboard artist, animation director, and others) will direct the anime, with Aya Komaki (ONE PIECE FILM RED assistant director) as series director, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning) as character designer, and Yuko Kakihara (Pseudo-Harem) as series scriptwriter. Toei Animation is producing the anime.
The late series creator Akira Toriyama was involved in the story and character designs for Dragon Ball Daima.

Dragon Ball began as a manga series published by Shueisha in 1984. More recent Dragon Ball anime projects include the Dragon Ball Super series, which takes place after Majin Buu's defeat in Dragon Ball Z (1989–1996). Dragon Ball Daima is the first non-Super anime since Dragon Ball Super began in 2015.
