During the latest Diablo IV media event on Twitter, publisher Blizzard teased the next round of beta testing for this game. This is the 3rd beta and may also be the last beta before Diablo IV officially launches in June 2023.
Blizzard calls this beta “The Great Server War” with the implication of testing the stability of the Diablo IV server when there are many people accessing it. This beta will take place for 3 days, from May 12 to 14. Similar to the previous two rounds, only those who have pre-ordered versions of Diablo IV will be able to attend.
The character’s level cap is 20 and the reward for killing the world boss Ashava will be armor and horse items (limited only during beta). This beta will also have a few updates changed by Blizzard from the previous 2 waves. Therefore, the strength of the character classes in the early game (below level 20) will also have some small changes.
According to Blizzard, this will most likely be the last round of testing before the game launches. Some titles as well as items in the beta will be retained throughout the game. Therefore, if you want to collect rare (limited) Diablo IV items, you should consider ordering the game now.
