demon slayerThe third season of the series is off to an incredible start for fans of the spin-off, and now it’s finally time for the dub to come out. Fans got their first look at Demon Slayer season 3 when the first episode was released in theaters and toured around the world. Episodes of Demon Slayer Season 3 began airing officially in Japan on April 9 and were broadcast side-by-side with subtitles for fans worldwide through Crunchyroll.
Now, Crunchyroll has revealed that the English dub will begin airing on May 28, at 4:30 a.m. ET/1:30 PT, and weekly every Sunday thereafter. In addition to English, Crunchyroll has indicated that the series will also be dubbed in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Hindi, although the release date for the language dubs is This other language has not been published yet.
Demon Slayer Season 3 dub begins May 28
The third season of Demon Slayer, as its full name suggests, is primarily set in and around the Blacksmith’s Village, a secret town where the Nichirin sword master blacksmiths live. Tanjiro’s weapon, damaged during his battle in Season 2’s Recreation, needs repair, and so Tanjiro is sent to the Blacksmith’s Village. He’s not the only one there when he arrives – he meets Hashira Love, Mitsuri Kanroji, and Hashira the Mist, Muichiro Tokito, there, and rookie assassin Genya Shinazugawa. However, just when it seemed like Tanjiro and Nezuko could rest, the evil presence of demons began to be felt in the isolated village…
So far, the third season has delivered everything the Demon Hunter is great at: great battles, terrifying monsters, and a dynamic strong character fueled by the kindness and empathy of Tanjiro. Fans waiting for the dub have had a lot of great moments to look forward to, and the part hasn’t even aired in Japanese yet. The third season of the series also pauses the established Tanjiro/Inosuke/Zenitsu trilogy to better understand some of the other characters, which really helps build the personalities of protagonists like Hashira.
English dub of demon slayer coming soon on Crunchyroll, finally giving fans who enjoy watching the dubbed version a taste of the great content still ahead in the Swordsmith Village arc.
