Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s The Swordsmith Village arc is in full swing with the fifth episode coming out. The fourth and fifth battles against Kizuki were still going on. However, the tides may change soon.

What happened in Episode 4 of Demon Slayer’s Swordsmith’s Village Arc?
At the end of episode 3, Tokito faced a fish demon. The fourth episode opens with this fight, Tokito quickly succeeds in defeating his enemies. It also continues the bloody battle of Demon Slayer Tanjiro, Genya and Nezuko fighting against Hantengu’s alternate emotional forms. The hero of the series has gathered more information about his enemies and adapted quickly in battle. However, it seems far from over as the village is being terrorized and every demon slayer is being defeated except Tokito. A little more information about the Hashira fog has been revealed – including the potential origin of his name Hashira. At the end of the episode, Nezuko and Tanjiro are in grave danger, knocked down after an attack, although Genya appears to be much tougher than he originally appeared and his injuries.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 5 will add Mitsuri to the fight
With Mitsuri Kanroji, Love Hashira, near the village and on her way, it looks like she’s going to rush into the fray in the next episode. Also, Gyokko is yet to be seen in full action. Since Tokito fought the demon fish that had a Blood Demon Art potion, it seemed likely that the demon would confront him. That could also show up in the next Demon Slayer episode, as Hantengu’s forms have taken up most of the attention up to this point. With two high-level demons to contend with and one that splits into multiple attack forms, there’s a lot of split of focus in this arc.
The next episode is titled “Bright Red Blade” and it could signal a change in weapons for Tanjiro. The whole purpose of his coming to the Blacksmith’s Village was to acquire a new weapon. The title may indicate that his sword will eventually be updated, though whether it will be a new sword or his current sword is currently unknown. If this is the case, fans will see Tanjiro awaken and return to the fray, displaying his great fighting spirit and determination. It can also point to other warriors, though none of them seem particularly likely to be upgraded at this point. Fans will see what happens next for Hashira, Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya when episode 5 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Swordsmith Village Arc airs on Crunchyroll and Funimation on May 7.
