What happened in Episode #10 of the Demon Slayer: Swordsman’s Village Arc?
Episode #10 of Demon Slayer, titled “Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji”, focuses on the famous demon slayer’s past and fights against the strongest form of Hantengu. After saving Tanjiro, Mitsuri confronts the superior demon, revealing how powerful her Love Breath technique is. Caught by an explosion, viewers see the different ways her body sets her apart from ordinary people, allowing her to become an incredible warrior. While Hantengu was not defeated, victory seemed imminent as the arc drew to a close. Mitsuri’s attacks and physical abilities make her seem like a much stronger fighter than her friend Hashira Muichiro Tokito. The episode also reveals where Genya’s special ability comes from and what it is.
Demon Slayer Part 3 Episode #11 Will End the Swordsman Village Arc
After episode #10 aired, Demon Slayer production studio Ufotable revealed that episode 11 will be the final episode in the Swordsmith Village Arc. It will be 70 minutes long, making it a full-length series. Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Genya’s time in the Blacksmith’s Village is coming to an end soon, although its location may not be as secure as it was before being attacked by the two high-level demons this episode focuses on. This part could end with the remaining villagers needing to move to a new location to prevent the loss of the Demon Hunter’s special weapon.
So far, there hasn’t been any official announcement on a spin-off for this one or when another one will be expected. With the recent announcement of the end of a double-long arc, it looks like another announcement will soon follow after Episode #11 gets a simulated airing. Given the doubled length, the finale is likely to be action-packed and includes all the necessary setup for a sequel to the story. The last episode of Demon Slayer: Swordsman’s Village Arc Season 3 of Kimetsu no Yaiba will air on Crunchyroll and Funimation on June 18.
