Delico's Nursery will take a four-week break after the release of Episode 6 and will resume with Act 2 on October 16. The JC Staff anime was originally scheduled to premiere in July, but was delayed due to production issues and premiered on August 8. A short trailer has been revealed for the upcoming anime.

The anime is based on TRUMP, a series of Japanese stage plays created by Kenichi Suemitsu. Suemitsu is responsible for the series' composition and scriptwriting. The film is directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori, with Yoko Ito adapting Koya's original character designs and Shunsuke Wada composing the music.
