Anime Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) has revealed a preview of episode 1 ahead of its January 4 global premiere on Netflix. Studio TRIGGER is working on the animation and the anime will air in two consecutive sessions. Check out the preview images from the first episode below

When young adventurer Laios and his companions are attacked and brutally beaten by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all their money and provisions…and one member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there’s just one problem: If they set out without food or coins to speak of, they’ll surely starve to death on the way! But Laios comes up with a great idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…no one is safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
