Anime Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) has revealed a preview of episode 1 ahead of its January 4 global premiere on Netflix. Studio TRIGGER is producing the animation and the anime will air in two consecutive sessions. Check out the preview images for the first episode below

Yen Press has licensed the manga in English and they describe the story: When young adventurer Laios and his comrades are attacked and violently beaten by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the group loses all the money and food…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there’s just one problem: If they set out without food or coins to speak of, they’ll surely starve to death on the way! But Laios comes up with a great idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…no one is safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
