Delicacies in the dungeon episode #3 was a bit funny when compared to the previous episodes, but its action and story progression more than made up for that. It was another great episode of Delicious in Dungeon, and it leaves a lot to be desired for the release of episode #4.

What happened in Delicious In Dungeon Episode 3?
As the title implies, Delicious in Dungeon episode #3, “Living Armor,” Touden’s group fights a group of living armor that all prove to be nearly indestructible. Laios splits off from the group to find the one controlling the armor while the others hold them back, but he ends up fighting an even stronger living armor that quickly overwhelms him. However, during the war, Laios discovers that the living armor’s true form is a colony of molluscs work in tandem to move the armors, meaning Laios can defeat them and of course eat them.
With new knowledge in hand, Laios took advantage of how the living armors actually worked to immobilize his opponents and distract others to allow the rest of the group to escape with him. . From there, Laios asked people to eat the mollusks in various dishes, and although they were initially apprehensive, they found it surprisingly delicious. The episode ends with Laios taking the command living armor’s sword for himself, only to discover that a mollusk is living in the sword, which he keeps to himself when Marcille asks to examine sword.

Delicious In Dungeon may have revealed its villain
With everything that has happened so far, Delicious in Dungeon seems to have revealed the main villain of the series. A recurring motif in the series, even in the opening and ending themes, is the image of a winged lion, and since that image appears primarily in dungeons, especially with the series living armor that Laios fought, so the winged lion may have evil intentions and could be the overall villain of the series. All of that is mostly just speculation at this point, but it will be interesting to see if Delicacies in the dungeon do anything with that, go ahead.
