Warning: Spoiler for Chapter 383 of My Hero AcademiaMy Hero Academy have seen many returning characters in recent chapters, but the latest familiar face is one that fans probably never expect to see again: The villain Sludge attacked Bakugo and Deku in the episode. Firstly. With My Hero Academia coming to an end, it’s the perfect time for the series to bring back the first villain.
The mud villain appeared before Bakugo and Midoriya were even accepted into UA, and the defeat to All Might was how Midoriya met the top hero for the first time. Although his fate after the defeat is unknown, it is likely that he was sent to Tartarus, and subsequently escaped with the other villains of My Hero Academia. However, The Sludge Villain is as much of a coward as ever, as he was discovered when he tried to take over Shinso’s body to evade the fight and escape.
My Hero Academia’s Sludge Villain proves Deku’s maturity
Like most slimy enemies, the Mud Villain’s only real means of attack is to suffocate them, which really limits his usefulness in combat. Combined with his cowardly nature, it’s surprising that he shows up on the battlefield, especially since this villain doesn’t seem to have any loyalty or even connection to All. for One or Alliance. Of course, Sludge Villain quickly reveals that he has no intention of fighting, and is just waiting for the giant villain My Hero Academia Gigantomachia to awaken. Ironically, the Mud Villain possessing Shinso would ensure that Gigantomachia would fall into the hands of the villains, so if he hadn’t been caught, the real bad guys would have won.
This time, Mina becomes the one to defeat the Mud Villain, as her Acidman attack threatens to integrate into the villain’s liquid body and essentially melt him from the inside out. Unfortunately, he appears to have escaped again, although it is unclear how badly he was injured. Despite that, since Mina and Kirishima managed to make it to the main battleground with Gigantomachia, it could mean that the Mud Villain is once again left off the roster. However, the heroes should still be wary as they are in a difficult enough position without another surprise attack from this yellow-bellied mud.
The return of one My Hero AcademyUA’s earliest enemy certainly surprises in this chapter, but even without Bakugo and Deku around, UA’s students quickly took him down, proving just how mature they’ve come to be. as heroes during their time in UA.
