In this episode, Fennel is rushing towards Alyssa’s house when he learns that her protective daughter Viola is running errands today, meaning the elf can finally spend more time on-
Oh well, it’s Grind, where he’s eating some of Alyssa’s baked cookies. It looked like his Orc friend had hit him with a punch!
And speaking of Fennel, he punched Grind in the face when he was really angry. Of course, why is Grind having such a good time with Alyssa?
Well, it’s all because Viola asked Grind to entertain Alyssa while she was away. What a daring witch!
By the way, Grind is planning to visit Fennel’s hometown because he expects some cute elves there.
However, Fennel wants to break his dream into pieces, saying that his homeland is full of old elves while the young ones have gone elsewhere. Basically, this is a fun town for old people.
But yes, Grind was really angry that his best friend had told him the harsh truth. Of course, Fennel plans to take Alyssa to his elven homeland in the future because he loves her so much.
However, Viola is not watching because she and her pet bird Phoenix have come to bring divine retribution against the perverted ogre! I guess this elf won’t find its way to Alyssa while Viola is still here.
Like I said, Viola is done with her chores but wait, there’s more because she and Alyssa are going to get sweet potatoes in Lyra’s backyard.
In fact, Pondo, her husband, did something amazing when he poured a bottle of fertilizer… from Giriko. Are you kidding me?
As mentioned, Pondo’s sweet potatoes gained sentience when they became mandragoras thanks to Giriko’s questionable fertilizer. Of course, it will be difficult to appease them.
And this is Lyra, she’s really angry with her husband for making a mess in her backyard. By the way, she is carrying a sweet potato sword and Lyra will use it to smash Pondo.
Anyway, Alyssa called Giriko to turn those sweet potatoes back to normal with what appeared to be an antidote. By the way, Giriko is still charming no matter what she wears.
But now that the chaos is over, Lyra can finally give Alyssa and Viola a month’s worth of sweet potatoes. Hopefully they won’t get sick of eating them for weeks.
Oh and speaking of sweet potatoes, it doesn’t end there because Viola bought Giriko’s questionable fertilizer to grow her own.
Result? The two giant monsters are fighting when Viola tells Alyssa to let them fight like Dr. Serizawa’s dialogue in Godzilla (2014). Then again, I expected something worse…
Wait, they merged into a giant monster called Centahemoth. Someone please call Phoenix to stop this giant beast from rampaging throughout the forest.
Of course, Alyssa will have to rely on Giriko again to bring these spuds back to normal. In any case, it’s a crazy episode with the brothers bickering over a goblin village, as well as the chaotic appearance of sentient tubers before Giriko stops the mayhem.
By the way, since we’re already halfway there, I wonder when Viola’s biological mother will appear? I guess we’ll find out soon!
