Anime’Mysterious Mystery Battle’will premiere in October

Crunchyroll today announced that the television anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu Manga’s Dandadan “mysterious mystery battle and romantic comedy” will air in Japan in October.
The company describes the story:
This is the story of Momo, a high school girl from a family of mediums, and her classmate, Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo rescued Okarun from being bullied, they started talking. However, an argument occurs between them because Momo believes in ghosts but denies the existence of aliens and Okarun believes in aliens but denies the existence of ghosts.
To prove to each other what they believe is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been discovered and Okarun goes to a tunnel rumored to be haunted. To their surprise, each encountered paranormal activities beyond comprehension. Amid these difficult situations, Momo awakens her hidden powers and Okarun gains the power of the curse to overcome these new dangers! Their fateful love also begins!?

The anime stars:
Fūga Yamashiro (assistant director on Tatami Time Machine Blues) is directing the anime at Science SARU, and Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan The Final Season, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) is supervising the anime and writing the script. series version. Composer kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby, Liz and the Blue Bird) is composing the music. Naoyuki Onda (Mobile SuitGundam Hathaway, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) designed the characters, and Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) designed the aliens and supernatural entities.
Tatsu serialized the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service, and Shueisha published volume 13 on January 4. Volume 14 will be published on April 4. Viz Media publishes the manga in English.
