California is once again gearing up for Anime Expo — an exciting four-day weekend filled with exclusive events for some of the biggest anime franchises. This year, Crunchyroll's Expo lineup is packed with behind-the-scenes events and exclusive launches for a ton of big titles.
As detailed in a recent press release, Crunchyroll is hosting more than 20 different events at Anime Expo 2024. Featured franchises include established anime series such as One Piece, Black Butler, and Tower of God , as well as groundbreaking cult films like Bocchithe Rock! and 2024's Solo Leveling. Those looking forward to the summer and fall anime seasons are also in luck, as Crunchyroll has several premieres lined up for highly anticipated future titles, such as After -School Hanako-Kun, No Longer Allowed in Another World and Alya Sometimes hides her feelings in Russian, among other things. Additionally, the Crunchyroll Store will feature a booth where fans can peruse the company's ever-expanding collection of original and exclusive anime-themed merchandise. Anime Expo 2024 will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 4 to 7.

Crunchyroll's events will include presentations from some of the famous creators who helped bring their respective anime series to life. Trigun Stampede fans will be treated to a special panel featuring series producers Yoshihiro Watanabe and Katsuhiro Takei. For CloverWorks' award-winning slice-of-life musical anime Bocchi the Rock, Crunchyroll will also present a special behind-the-scenes featurette with series director Keiichiro Saito and voice actor Yoshino Aoyama, who later plays Bocchi genuine. Additionally, Solo Leveling producer Atsushi Kaneko will join Crunchyroll host Chris Han for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the hit dark fantasy anime. The event will also feature series voice actors Aleks Le and Taito Ban, who voice main character Jinwoo Sung in the English and Japanese versions. The aforementioned names are just a few of the dozens of creative works Crunchyroll has lined up for Anime Expo 2024.
Anime Expo 2024 is ready to welcome Rapper Logic and NFL Star Jamaal Williams
Crunchyroll's star power doesn't just include creators in the animation world. On July 4, the company will host a special panel featuring Grammy-nominated rapper and songwriter Logic, where the famous hip-hop icon will analyze the role of anime in his career his professional music. Additionally, NFL superstar (and proud Naruto fan) Jamaal Williams was among the many guests chosen for Crunchyroll's Revenge of the Blerds: Black Love of Anime panel. Here, African American anime fans will share their thoughts on the presence of black culture in anime and how the medium has influenced modern-day black culture.

Crunchyroll's Anime Expo premiere includes One Piece, Re:Zero, Overlord & Tower of God
Crunchyroll has many exciting premieres scheduled for Anime Expo. On July 5, the streaming company will host a special English dub screening of Episodes 1090 and 1091 of Toei Animation's beloved One Piece manga. These episodes mark the beginning of the highly anticipated “Egghead Arc” of the anime. Telecom Animation's webtoon anime adaptation of Tower of God will also hold a special premiere for its long-awaited second season. Meanwhile, fans of the isekai genre can look forward to the premiere of Quality Assurance in Another World, Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World Part 3, Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest Season 3 and Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom. The second launch is part of a special collaboration panel between Crunchyroll and Kadokawa Anime, which will take place on July 6.
