KonoSuba Season 3 marks the return of the beloved Isekai anime
Originally released in 2016, Konosuba Season 1 introduced viewers to Kazuma Sato, an anime-obsessed character who died in an accident and was reincarnated into a fantasy universe. There, he embarks on a dangerous journey to defeat a demon king with a beautiful goddess named Aqua at his side. According to Crunchyroll’s synopsis, Season 3 revolves around Kazuma becoming disillusioned with his life of adventure. Determined to change things, he pursues a new career as a monk. Meanwhile, his allies enjoy luxury and fame while entertaining a local princess with stories of their adventures. The release date of the series is set for April 2024.
In contrast to KonoSuba, A Condition Called Love is a realistic romance anime set in modern-day Japan. The main character is Hotaru Hinase, a 16-year-old high school student who is always skeptical about love. One day, she meets a popular male student named Hananoi after he was just dumped by his girlfriend. As the rain poured down, she offered to share her umbrella with him. Ultimately, this simple act of kindness leads to the “delicate dance of first love” between Hotaru and Hananoi.

Eventually, a series of strange sinkhole incidents begin to occur and the two friends decide to investigate.

Over the past few years, the company has expanded its role to include anime production in addition to distribution, which has made a significant impact on the media landscape. According to Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini, A-1 Pictures’ breakout film Solo Leveling is co-produced by Aniplex, a close partner of the popular streaming company. “Sometimes certain stories may not be something our partners can create and produce for a Japanese audience, so we step in and invest with our partners,” said Purini. because this is something we strongly believe in for an international audience.” As of February 29, eight Solo Leveling episodes have been released.
