Crunchyroll and A PLUS JAPAN has announced the fall 2024 global release of Lord of Nazarick, a mobile turn-based RPG based on the anime Overlord.
The 3D title will allow Overlord fans to experience the main story “from a fresh perspective,” new but classic scenarios, and less story-driven content like “roguelite dungeons,” “boss challenges,” and mini-games. There are expected to be more than 50 playable characters at launch, as well as five classes and three attributes.
Sightseeing modes can “Spend time wandering around the world and visit the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Carne Village, E-Rantel, and other familiar locations from the anime.” Meanwhile, multiplayer-minded players can look forward to co-op and PvP in the game. As for the former, the press release says that players can “create their own legendary alliance (just like Ainz Ooal Gown!) or join an existing alliance to fight powerful enemies together.”
Another feature highlighted by the press release is the Crunchyroll Login. Lord of Nazarick will apparently be the first game to fully implement the feature, offering special rewards for Crunchyroll Premium members. These include in-game currency, battle passes, and “exclusive access to activations across Crunchyroll’s theatrical and e-commerce experiences.”
