Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global added Seishi Kishimoto’s Sukedachi Nine manga on Saturday. It added Irono’s The Grim Reaper manga and Argent Cavalier (Shinigami to Gin no Kishi) manga on Thursday.
Comics UP! Sukedachi Nine description:
The rising murder rate has forced the Japanese government to restore a Meiji-era penal code called “Death by Revenge,” which allows criminals to be executed in the same way their victims are killed. In the special police force, nine Assistants—executioners who are also victims of crime—carry out these retributions with zeal and sincerity.
Seishi Kishimoto launched his Sukedachi Nine (Assist Nine) manga in Square Enix’s free online web magazine Gangan Online and Monthly Shonen Gangan in October 2014. The manga ended in July 2016. Square Enix published it. The fifth and final compiled volume of the manga was released in September 2016.
Kishimoto also published two side stories—Weekly Shonen Gangan published a chapter featuring Kōta Kiyodera, while Gangan Online published a chapter featuring Ryōko Koizumi. The main manga focuses on Yūji Yamanishi.
